This year at Burghley, Jordan, AKA Katie Price will be launching her new range of clothing and horse accessories. The first collection from KP Equestrian will be revealed on Friday, at Burghley House, Stamford. An ideal location for her new range of clothing.
Described as a leisurewear line with a "horsey twist", the
30-year-old tabloid favourite turned bestselling author is
expected to promote her latest business venture with appearances
at the trials on Friday and Saturday.
According to her own website, Ms Price's appearance at the
Burghley Horse Trials is intended as the first step towards
shaking up the world of equestrian fashion.
"I've worked with a top team of high-street fashion designers
and we've applied quality fashion design to some classic
equestrian pieces, and given a horsey twist to a few general
leisure items," she says. It's fashionable and stylish but at
the same time functional and wearable. And the horsewear is just
fab."
Katie is due to appear at the event at 3pm on Friday and at
12.30pm on Saturday.
This is not her first visit to the
Peterborough area.
Back in February 2006, hundreds of people flocked to meet her at
her book signing in Serpentine Green shopping centre in
Hampton.
About 200 people queued at Waterstones in Bridge Street for
another signing earlier this year.
The launch of the clothing range, which is being sold through
national equestrian retailer Derby House, is the latest venture
in Ms Price's considerably varied career.
Her first forays into the public eye came as the glamour model
Jordan, modelling for The Sun's Page 3 and a number of men's
magazines, including Playboy.
After re-launching her celebrity persona using her real name, the
mother-of-three has published several books including three
bestselling autobiographies and a series of children's books
